I love that everyone has decided to post! Julie - Congratulations, again! It was great to catch up with you last night! Liz, I hope we're still on for tonight! It's our date! :)
Kimmie and Angie, it was great to connect with you guys again, too. With so much going on with everyone, I have felt so out of touch.
Thanks for all your prayers with my mom! She's doing really well, and recovering from surgery very quickly. She went in this morning for her cat scan, but apparently we won't know anything until next week when the doctor will go over her results with her. She's been researching a lot and is looking into alternatives to the standard chemo treatment. She's also really focusing on cutting preservatives and hormones out of her diet, and going with all natural, organic products instead of the standard processed stuff that we're all used to eating. I am trying to adopt that lifestyle as well.
Other than that, things are alright here in Chi-town. Shawn and I are doing well. I will be in Tulsa again Feb. 18-26. Plans and arrangements continue to be made for the future, and as soon as I know anything for sure concerning a move, job, etc. I will let you girls know!
