forgetfulness!

I seriously forgot that we even had this blog! And then i had many posts to catch up on. that was fun to read, and i realized i missed out on a lot!
Julie, I ache for you. I still think of our baby we miscarried in June 2009 (named Hudson Taylor), how i missed out on being able to cuddle him, see his smiles, etc, etc, etc... as i am sure you know all about too. Trust that God is sovereign. He's sovereign, He's sovereign, He's sovereign! He is good even when we think our circumstances are not. It's so hard sometimes.
Wow, who knew life could be so busy? let's see... I left my employment of 8 years back in September and a month later started working for TEGA technologies (my old boss heard I left Dealer Marketing so hired me to work for him again as his assistant). I'm enjoying doing something different, and being out of the automotive industry. So, i work 2 days a week, and my now retired in-laws take care of my babes. very good.
Megumi is now 2 years and 2 months. Who knew a child could be so brilliant!? Seriously though, she talks constantly. Sometimes i have to bribe her to be quiet for 5 minutes. She loves helping me in the kitchen, playing with Joseph, Veggie Tales, and calling grandma for recipes. I'm going to attempt potty training in January. Part of me doesn't want to because it's just one more sign that my baby girl is growing up! She's just as sweet as can be. Today for nap time she laid down and said "God made me special, and he loves me very much!"
Joseph Thomas is a good baby, now 6 months old. He got over the colic with help of probiotics and chiropractor adjustments. Still doesn't sleep through the night... wakes up twice just to eat. He's a big boy, built thick, not really chunky at all. built like his daddy i guess. He's a mommy's boy, which i absolutely love. I had my "tubes tied" during my c-section with him, so this mama's womb is closed for business. But Chris and I plan on starting the adoption process in another year or so.
Chris is doing fine, not crazy about his job, but then again, who is? We are busy with serving at church... i'm still on worship team, take part in a women's Bible study, and we both serve in Jr. High ministry though this is our last year for that as we see out our 8th grade groups. Chris leads up the parking ministry, and we take part in a small group. yeah, we're at church a lot! Megumi sometimes asks me if we can go to church to play with her friends.
you have all been on my mind lately.... probably because i really need a pedicure and wish i had one of you close to indulge with me :)

miss you all... i think i hear Joseph Thomas waking up for his first bottle already... love you all! praying for you!
